A new clip from Disney’s Frozen depicts Anna and Kristoff making an escape over a cliff when Olaf encounters Elsa’s giant, frozen guard nicknamed Marshmallow.

The scene was released by Moviefone, and according to the site it takes place moments after Anna and Kristoff tried to smooth things over with Elsa who’s turned all of the region into an icy wonderland for good. The duo reach a 200 foot drop that Kristoff believes they can get over using rope and a snow anchor. While plunging, Olaf catches up with them and we see he’s being trailed by Elsa’s creation Marshmallow who’s tasked with keeping them away from her. Poor Olaf jumps off the cliff to get away from the giant creator and falls apart after he hits a rock.

The Frozen clip is charming and continues to win us over in terms of dialogue. Olaf in particular looks to be the stand out, comedic-relief character brilliantly voiced by Josh Gad who gives the snowman a unique personality.

This is one of three scenes that have been released so far by Disney as we gear up for the film’s late-November theatrical release. In the first clip we see Olaf meet Kristoff, Anna, and their reindeer Sven for the first time, and in the second clip we see Elsa get angry at Anna.

Frozen is in theaters November 27 and you can watch the latest trailer in our previous story. Says the synopsis for the story, “Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.”

The film is directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee. The latter wrote the script and also wrote last year’s Walt Disney Animation hit Wreck-It Ralph.

Thanks, Moviefone.
