It looks like Frozen 2 will be sliding into theaters earlier than expected.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Walt Disney Animated Studios has officially moved up the release date for the highly anticipated sequel to 2013’s Frozen.

Frozen 2 will now be hitting theaters on November 22, 2019 — one week earlier than its originally scheduled release date of November 29.

A one week shift might not seem like much, but we’re sure Frozen fans (who will, by 2019, have been waiting six years for the sequel) won’t be complaining over getting to see the movie a bit earlier than expected.

Unfortunately, fans hoping to get some more information as to what the sequel will focus on will have to wait. Currently, Disney is keeping Frozen 2 plot details pretty close to the chest.

Even so, we received some exciting casting news just a few months ago.

Back in July, we learned that Westworld’s Evan Rachel Wood and This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown would both be lending their voices to the highly anticipated sequel.

The exciting casting announcement didn’t shed any light on who Wood and Brown would be playing. With that in mind, we’ll be looking forward to finding out how their characters fit into the mix of things in Arendelle.

Wood and Brown join returning cast members Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, and Jonathan Groff. The stars of the first film will be returning to reprise their roles as Ana, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff, respectively.

Disney’s Frozen 2 premieres in theaters on November 22, 2019.
