The Observers have issued a new warning, Fringe fans! Better watch and heed this message, which contains important information about the fifth and final season.

This is the second Fringe season 5 promo which contains a message from the Observers. The first was Cerebral Scan Protocol, a procedure which it sounds like they used on Walter.

In this one, it seems we are learning about the trouble our Fringe team will have getting around once the Observer takeover happens. In the video, the Observer delivers the following statement:

“Vigilance is a sign of loyalty. Natives must remain in their designated living quadrants and carry validated identification at all times. Native Rights, statute 6b, allows for short-term travel to an adjacent quadrant, but this can only be achieved if the proper authorisation has been issued. In those instances, your transit papers will be required at all checkpoints. Failure to provide the proper paperwork will lead to a scan and detainment, at minimum.” He finishes with the Observers’ new catchphrase: “Heed. Obey. Serve.”

These videos are very reminiscent of the old Lost promos that featured members of the Dharma Initiative, and that had fans speculating wildly about hidden messages and information contained within:

While the Observer’s message here seems pretty straightforward, note the images cut into the clip, barely visible, but a clear sign that members of the resistance are infiltrating the Observers’ operations:

There are also the mysterious hieroglyphs that have been seen a number of times in the various promotional material released:

What do they mean? What does any of this mean? With the Fringe premiere only just over two weeks away, we can’t wait to find out exactly what the Observers are planning, and what the resistance movement is doing to stop them!
