Fringe returns tonight with “In Absentia,” and you can watch three sneak peeks from the episode and a new promo featuring Olivia now.

In the first sneak peek, we see in a flashback how Peter and Olivia first lost their daughter back in 2015. When Olivia wakes up after the Observer takeover, she is gone. Olivia then wakes up, in 2036, to find Peter standing over her:

Next, we see exactly how the Thought Unifier works, as Walter attempts to get his memories back. This is what leads to the decision to return to the Harvard lab, which is heavily guarded by Observers:

Here, the Fringe team is back at Walter’s old Harvard lab, which has been ambered – by Walter himself. And he discovers that he made a video (a bit of which we’ve already seen in a promo):

And finally, the Olivia version of the “Wanted” promo has been released (also check out the ones featuring Walter, Astrid and Peter):

Thanks to FringeLatino, we also have a slowed-down version which unscrambles the hidden message:

“What concerns me more is what they’ve taken away,” Olivia says. What could she be talking about? Walter’s memories, or perhaps Etta’s innocence having grown up during the Observer war?

Fringe returns tonight with “In Absentia,” in which Walter, Peter, Olivia, Astrid and Etta return to Walter’s old lab to try to piece Walter’s memories back together, unlocking the secret to defeating the Observers. The episode airs at 9/8c on Fox.
