Read the official synopses of the two next Fringe episodes, entitled “The Human Kind” and “Black Blotter.” It’s all downhill from here…

Fringe isn’t back with “The Human Kind” until December 7, but maybe this episode description from Fox will give us some more clues about what we can expect:

PETER PRESSES ON IN A PASSIONATE MISSION TO DEFEAT THE OBSERVERS ON AN ALL-NEW “FRINGE” FRIDAY, DECEMBER 7, ON FOX

Jill Scott (“Steel Magnolias”) Guest-Stars

Olivia encounters a very intuitive and oracle-like person named Simone (guest star Scott) as she looks to recover a key piece of equipment for Walter. Meanwhile, Peter finds himself in a perilous situation as he observes Windmark (guest star Michael Kopsa) in the all-new “The Human Kind” episode of FRINGE airing Friday, Dec. 7 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). (FR-508) (TV-14 V)

Peter is rapidly turning into an Observer, it seems, but is there any hope for him? In the following week’s episode “Black Blotter,” he still seems like himself, but we’re not holding out much hope for him at this point:

WALTER TAKES A TRIP IN SEARCH OF ANSWERS

ON AN ALL-NEW “FRINGE”

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14, ON FOX

In attempt to recall a plan to defeat the Observers, Walter takes an LSD trip down memory lane. Meanwhile, Peter and Olivia trace a mysterious signal to the woods, where they come upon a grisly scene in the all-new “Black Blotter” episode of FRINGE airing Friday, Dec. 14 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). (FR-509) (TV-14 L, V)

What are your theories about the final batch of episodes?!
