The cast of beloved football drama Friday Night Lights reunited over the weekend at the ATX Television Festival to talk about their show with fans.
Heartwarming photos of cast members Chandler (Coach), Britton (Tami), who played husband and wife in the show which ran from 2006 to 2011, spoke about a variety of Friday Night Lights topics.
One of the most interesting things they hit on was the possibility of a Friday Night Lights movie. Fans have been hoping for one since the show ended two years ago, and the success of the Veronica Mars movie project has reinvigorated those dreams.
Said producer David Hudgins after Britton and Chandler didn’t have an answer, “We can dream the dream. There have been talks about making a movie of the series, that the producer Pete and his partners are very passionate about but I don’t think there are any plans to move forward with it now. But never say never and it sure is fun to get back together with all these people.”
The Friday Night Lights movie is clearly still in the “dream” phase, but that doesn’t mean fans should stop hoping for one. Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose!
