Ryan Reynolds goes rogue in the latest trailer for Free Guy check it out below!

When it comes to open world games, NPCs (that’s non-player characters for anyone who’s not well versed in video game lingo) are forgettably boring for the most part. But that’s not to case when it comes to Ryan Reynolds’ next big screen movie.

In Free Guy, Reynolds plays a NPC bank teller named Guy. Despite having (almost everything) he could ever want, it’s not long before Guy starts questioning his life.

“D’you ever think that there’s gotta be more? To the stuff we do day after day?” Guy asks his buddy at the beginning of the newest trailer for the movie.

It’s clear Guy gets more than he bargains for when he suddenly gets clued into the fact that he’s actually a background player in an open world video game.

From there, it’s not long before Guy takes matters into his own hands in an effort to make the city he calls home a better place.

But not everyone’s happy with Guy’s decision to singlehandedly change Free City for the better. The stakes get higher when he suddenly finds himself fighting to save his city from those who seek to destroy it forever.

Free Guy is expected to hit theaters in the US on December 11.
