When you think of Fred Durst, actor is hardly the word that comes to mind.  Sure, he’s had a few guest starring roles and has even directed a little bit, but primarily, he is known as a hardcore rocker.  All of that may be about to change.

The musician has just signed on to star in a new CBS sitcom that was unfortunate enough to receive the title, Douchebag.  Luckily, that is just a temporary title, and is more then likely subject to change.  The show will be a half-hour comedy that focuses on a popular rock star who must balance his glamorous and erratic world of music with his quiet homelife as a father and husband.  Sounds perfect for Mr. Durst, who will also be producing the comedy.
