Disney has just sent over what they are calling an “homage trailer” that just played at the panel for Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie at Comic-Con, take a watch to see a glimpse at what inspired the film.

Here’s the synopsis:

In Tim Burton’s “Frankenweenie” young Victor conducts a science experiment to bring his beloved dog Sparky back to life, only to face unintended, sometimes monstrous, consequences.
