New Girl, The Mindy Project, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine are officially renewed for the 2014-2015 season!

As expected, hit series New Girl has been renewed for a fourth season, bringing back Jess and her crazy group of friends. New Girl stars Emmy Award- and Golden Globe Award-nominated actress Zooey Deschanel as quirky teacher Jessica Day.

The series follows her life through modern friendship and romance, as well as the struggles of living with all male roommates, including her boyfriend. Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Lamorne Morris, and Damon Wayans Jr. star as Jess’ roommates, while Hannah Simone stars as her model best friend.

Freshman comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been renewed for a second season. Golden Globe Award winner Andy Samberg stars in Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Jake Peralta, a carefree detective.

Andre Braugher stars as his very serious new precinct captain who has a lot to prove. Stephanie Beatriz, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, and Chelsea Peretti also co-star on the series.

Although some thought for sure The Mindy Project had seen the last of its days, Fox is backing the series and has renewed it for a third season. The Mindy Project was created, written, and stars Mindy Kaling.

Kaling plays a professional OB/GYN trying to meet her goals in both her career and love life. The Mindy Project also co-stars Chris Messina, Ed Weeks, Zoe Jarman, Beth Grant, Ike Barinholtz, and Xosha Roquemore.

In a statement released by Fox’s Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, and Joe Earley, Chief Operating Officer say, “These shows are some of the best and acclaimed series on television, with influential, culture-driving stars, and some of the best, most creative talent behind the camera.”

They add that they are, “core assets within our 2014-15 portfolio of content, and we’re really happy to bring them back to our FOX fans for another season.”
