Mindy Kaling’s upcoming Four Weddings and a Funeral series on Hulu has added Game of Thrones actress Nathalie Emmanuel to its cast.

Deadline reports that Nathalie Emmanuel has joined the cast of Hulu’s upcoming limited series inspired by the hit ’90s rom-com, Four Weddings and a Funeral.

The actress, who plays Missandei on the hit HBO fantasy series, will be replacing Jessica Williams who was originally tapped to play the role of Jess.

Emmanuel isn’t the only new name joining the cast of the upcoming limited series.

Original Four Weddings and a Funeral actress Andie MacDowell has also signed on to appear in the upcoming series.

She won’t be reprising her original role, though. Instead, MacDowell will play Mrs. Howard — the mother of Ainsley, one of four school friends the series revolves around.

Written and executive produced by Kaling and Matt Warburton, Hulu’s Four Weddings and a Funeral focuses on four American school friends named Maya (Emmanuel), Craig (Brandon Mychal Smith), Ainsley (Rebecca Rittenhouse), and Duffy (John Reynolds) who reunite when they find themselves invited to a wedding in London.

What is meant to be a joyous occasion, however, quickly derails after drama at the altar throws a wrench in all of their lives. From there, we follow the friends in a year in their lives full of heartache and romance.

According to the official synopsis for the series, “relationships are forged and broken, political scandals exposed, London social life lampooned, love affairs ignited and doused, and of course, there are four weddings…and a funeral.”

There’s currently no word on when Hulu plans to premiere the upcoming limited series.
