We told you Mercedes would have a love interest next season! And it seems as though we can now put a face to the mystery man, that face being LaMarcus Tinker, former Friday Night Lights star.
TV Line reported that Tinker is joining the Glee cast as a linebacker for the McKinley Titans, who goes by the name of Marcus, and who will be romancing Mercedes next season.
Producer Brad Falchuk has said the relationship will be a big one for Mercedes as a character.
“He’s this Big Bubba kind of guy and he encourages her to want more for herself. That drives her arc into the next half of the season.”
