With a cast of characters as large as Quantico‘s, it’s easy to lose track of a character or two. Here are a few NATs we are desperate to see again either in the past or the present.

When a character goes silent or missing on Quantico, it’s hard not to wonder what they’re up to in their time away. There are more than a few characters introduced at Quantico who haven’t been heard from again in the past timeline, and a few we’ve seen in the recent past that have disappeared from the present. Where are they? What are they doing? Will we see them again?

Simon Asher

Missing in both timelines, Asher presents an interesting dilemma. He’s proven his loyalty to Alex time and time again, but when a character is MIA as long as he has been on Quantico, it’s hard to believe that they haven’t been up to nefarious things in their time away.

At Quantico, we know that Asher left the program, which more than explains his absence there, but what has he been up to in all that time? Without a check in, it’s easy for our brains to run wild with theories regarding him and terrorist plots. He is one of the cleverest NATs around, and is definitely capable of playing double or triple agent if the occasion presents itself. We can’t wait to see him again in either timeline and see where his loyalties truly lay.

Natalie Vasquez

Okay, so Natalie is supposedly dead. That is one completely legitimate explanation for why her character is missing from the present day timeline. In the past, she left the program for her daughter, which was noble and befitting her character. We have legitimate explanations for why she’s missing in both timelines, but something just doesn’t feel right.

Her ‘death’ was filmed in such a way that seemed to hint that she may have had time to escape the explosion. Sure, this is network TV and we aren’t going to watch someone explode on camera, but it seemed too coincidental that we didn’t get a final moment with Natalie to give her death that final punch. When you add in the emails and communication that has been sent from her post-death, it leaves us wondering whether or not she may have found a way out of harm’s way.

Drew Perales

We just said goodbye to Drew in the past at Quantico. We know that he left for health reasons, and did so while being incredibly pissed off about the whole situation. Despite Alex doing the right thing as far as the FBI’s protocol goes, Drew may have just been angry enough about losing his career to find an organization to work with to bring down the very institution he would have given his everything for.

We’ve yet to see him in the present day storyline, which is true for a lot of his class’ recruits. We have to ask ourselves, why? Why haven’t we seen him at all? Could he be the mastermind behind punishing the FBI for their sins? Is Drew capable of killing innocents to get revenge on those that wronged him? Hopefully Quantico‘s final three episodes will give us all the details.

Brandon Fletcher

While Brandon has never left the past storyline at Quantico, he’s been surprisingly unused as well. He started off right in the thick of things, getting involved with Natalie quickly and hanging around, but since then, nothing. He’s just been there. He’s around for every assignment at Quantico, but hasn’t had any major role in any of the storylines since. What is he up to? Why was his character introduced in the first place? And where is he in the present storyline?

It’s definitely a bit of a headscratcher. Why add him to the pool of NATs after their initial introduction, but not utilize his character in the crazy and ever-twisting storyline? We will definitely be keeping our eye on him for the rest of the season, as it’s just way too easy for him to slip by unnoticed.

Do you think any of these characters should be the #1 suspect on ‘Quantico’?
