Secrets of The Force Awakens is a dream come true for Star Wars fans, as it’ll be detailing the making of Episode VII in all its glory.
There’s no need to tell you that The Force Awakens was a huge hit among new and old Star Wars fans alike. For many, it has single-handedly brought them back to the franchise they fell in love with many years ago.
With the Force Awakens Blu-ray and DVD hitting store shelves on April 5, we’re getting a slew of special features and bonus materials to satiate us until Rogue One debuts on December 16, 2016.
The synopsis for Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey reads, “For the first time, discover the complete story behind the making of The Force Awakens, revealed through in-depth footage and exclusive interviews with the actors and filmmakers in this feature documentary.”
A sneak peek of said cinematic journey debuted on Monday, which you can watch below:
“Every aspect” of the making of Force Awakens is said to be explored in this documentary, which is bound to get fans excited. And if that doesn’t, then hearing Mark Hamill praise the film for the feeling it gave him akin to the one he felt on the first movie certainly will.
New additions to the cast, like Gwendoline Christie and Daisy Ridley, also share their thoughts of love and anticipation, and we even get to see John Boyega’s screen test for Finn. (And if you haven’t seen the pictures of him visiting a children’s hospital in London dressed as his character, make sure you do that.)
Then there’s that oh-so-shocking part of Force Awakens that they’ll be exploring, talking to the cast and crew about what it was like to film such a pivotal scene in the movie.
