Before Will Smith and Margot Robbie team up in Suicide Squad, we see them mastering the art of the con in a new trailer for their next film, Focus.

In the latest trailer for Focus, we see Will Smith’s character teaching Margot Robbie’s how to con people. By the end of the trailer it looks like Robbie’s character will teach Will a few things he never expected to learn.

In Focus, Will Smith stars as Nicky, who is a seasoned master of misdirection that becomes romantically involved with an amateur con artist played by The Wolf of Wall Street‘s Margot Robbie. As he teaches her the tricks of the trade he thinks he’s mastered, she gets a bit too close for comfort and he abruptly breaks off their relationship.

Three years later, Robbie has become an accomplished con artist herself, and shows up in Buenos Aires in the middle of the high stakes racecar circuit. In the midst of Smith’s latest, very dangerous scheme, Margot throws his plans for a loop and knocks the master con artist off his own game.

In this latest trailer for Focus, we see that Robbie’s character, Nicky, may end up being the one who pulls off the biggest con, leaving Will Smith to get knocked around by some very dangerous people. It’s been a while since Smith has done a movie like this, and we hope that the pair team up well in the film.

Margot Robbie proved to be a standout actress in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street, and she’s also nabbed the highly anticipated role of Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad. Will Smith will play her co-star, Deadshot, who is a hired assassin that “never misses.”

Focus looks like an exciting film, with two incredibly talented actors, and we look forward to its release on February 27.
