Warner Bros., and DC’s upcoming Flash movie may have just found its director.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Spider-Man: Homecoming scriptwriters John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are officially in talks to direct Warner Bros. and DC’s Flash movie.

The upcoming superhero film will find actor Ezra Miller reprising his role as Barry Allen. Miller’s iteration of The Flash was most recently seen on the big screen in this year’s Justice League where he fought alongside the likes of Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and Superman (Henry Cavill).

WB’s Flash film has hit a few snags over the course of the time that it’s been in pre-production. Specifically, the film has had some trouble keeping a director on board.

Originally, the studio had tapped Seth Grahame-Smith to both write and direct the film. After Grahame-Smith walked away from the project, Dope director Rick Famuyiwa stepped in to spearhead the movie. Unfortunately, Famuyiwa ended up walking away back in October of 2016 due to creative differences.

Though Daley and Goldstein had a blockbuster on their hands with Spider-Man: Homecoming, the duo are relatively new to the superhero genre. Prior to working with Marvel, the pair were best known for their work on comedies such as Horrible Bosses and Vacation.

That being said, the majority of Spidey fans seem to have been thrilled with the humor they were able to inject into the web slinger’s latest adventure, so it’ll be interesting to see what they do with Miller’s rendition of Barry Allen.

There’s currently no word on when we can expect to see WB and DC’s Flash movie hit theaters.
