The first image from Seth Macfarlane’s Ted sequel shows Mark Wahlberg and our favorite thunder buddy, Ted, ready for some hilarious scuba diving.
Ted 2 has a pretty incredible cast, with Morgan Freeman and Amanda Seyfried joining the cast over the past year. The film is currently being wrapped up in post production, and the first image released shows us what Ted and Wahlberg’s characters will be up to in the sequel. Check out the hilarious comedy duo in scuba gear below:
We have no idea what’s going on here, except that Ted and Wahlberg don’t look too excited to be in their scuba gear. Ted does have a shovel in his hand, so maybe they’ve lost an engagement ring that Wahlberg has finally picked out.
There actually aren’t many details known about the sequel’s plot, but Ted will need some legal advice from a lawyer at some point and we’ve found out that Morgan Freeman will play said lawyer. Amanda Seyfried has replaced the lead female character, which seems a bit odd considering Mila Kunis was very well liked in the first film.
Ted became the highest grossing R-rated original comedy when it grossed nearly $550 million at the worldwide box office. A sequel was being reported the week after the film’s blockbuster weekend and now production is currently wrapping up.
We look forward to seeing what kind of hilarious roles Morgan Freeman and Seyfried will undoubtedly have in the highly anticipated sequel. We can’t wait to see the thunder buddies back on the big screen again, and we imagine Ted 2 will be another blockbuster for Seth Macfarlane and Mark Wahlberg when it hits theaters on April 3, 2015.
