Wes Anderson’s next film The Grand Budapest Hotel takes place during early 20th-century Hungary. Today we have the first poster for the film and an announcement for when the first trailer will be released.

You either love Wes Anderson films or you don’t understand them in the least, but it has to be said that he creates some incredibly beautiful films. With the release of The Grand Budapest Hotel’s first poster, we’re getting excited about his latest film. Check out the beautiful poster below thanks to IMDB:

It’s also been announced that The Grand Budapest Hotel’s first trailer will be released this Thursday, October 17. Starring Anderson’s usual team of legendary actors, we’ll also be getting Ralph Fiennes as the hotel’s concierge and Saoirse Ronan will play the young woman who becomes Fiennes’ protégé.

The Grand Budapest Hotel will take a look at 20th-century Hungary and Anderson is the only writer credited for writing the screenplay. While he’s normally co-writing with actor Owen Wilson, Roman Coppola, or Noah Baumbach.

His last film, Moonrise Kingdom, was a massive hit with critics and was his second biggest box office hit behind his massively popular film The Royal Tenenbaums. We look forward to seeing the followup from the unique and inspiring director.
