The IMF is shut down when it’s implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin, causing Ethan Hunt and his new team to go rogue to clear their organization’s name.
In addition to Tom Cruise returning as IMF agent Ethan Hunt, the film also stars Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker), Paula Patton (Deja Vu, Simon Pegg (Hot Fuzz), Josh Holloway (Lost), Tom Wilkinson (Batman Begins) and the return of Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell.
