We’re pretty excited about Rian Johnson’s Looper over here at Hypable. The film made it on both of our Most Anticipated Movies of 2012 lists and features a mind-bending plot that had WonderCon attendees cheering. Now comes our first look at Joseph Gordon Levitt in the film as a young Bruce Willis.

Looper is a thriller that centers on a mob hitman that must time travel in order to assassinate his targets, but what happens when his target is his future self? Bruce Willis plays the target, the future Joseph Gordon Levitt, and with director Rian Johnson at the helm, the project simply smells like success. In fact, if you check out the makeup job on Levitt in these photographs from Slashfilm, it seems that they went the extra mile to try to get Levitt to look like a younger Bruce Willis.
