Under two weeks after the launch of the program, Valve has announced the first titles to make it through the Greenlight service that will move to be released on Steam.

Here’s the list users voted onto the Steam platform proper:

Due to different stages of completion, some of these titles will land on Steam sooner than others.

“The Steam community rallied around these titles and made them the clear choice for the first set of titles to launch out of Greenlight,” said Anna Sweet of Valve. “Since launch, hundreds of titles have been submitted, with more coming in every day. We expect to be announcing more titles coming to Steam via Greenlight soon.”

Valve has said the service will continue to undergo changes according to user feedback. Since it’s launch on August 30, one such change made was a $100 submission fee to Greenlight in an attempt to cut down on the amount of spam that was on the service. The fee is donated to Child’s Play Charity but has still caused debate if the benefit of increasing visibility for legitimate titles outweighs adding another barrier to entry.
