With the release of Wes Anderson’s star-studded The Grand Budapest Hotel just a few months away, a first clip for the film has arrived.

Perhaps the only unknown entity in the cast comes in the form of lobby boy Zero, portrayed by newcomer Tony Revolori (F. Murray Abraham plays an older version of the character). Now we have been introduced to the character in this first clip for the film, which finds Ralph Fiennes’ character interviewing Zero for a position at the titular hotel.

Take a look at the brief clip below:

In addition to Fiennes, Revolori and Abraham, the ensemble features the likes of Edward Norton, Mathieu Amalric, Saoirse Ronan, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Léa Seydoux, Jeff Goldblum, Jason Schwartzman, Jude Law, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel, Tom Wilkinson, Bill Murray, and Owen Wilson. While such an impressive ensemble is typical for Anderson’s films, it is, nevertheless, impressive.

While the clip merely introduces us the these two main characters, the story “involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune — all against the back-drop of a suddenly and dramatically changing Continent.”

In case you’re confused about the look of this clip and other trailers, Anderson spoke with Matt Zoller Seitz, whose book The Wes Anderson Collection is currently available, about filming The Grand Budapest Hotel in varying aspect ratios to reflect the three different time periods of the film: “The movie jumps through three time periods; the different aspect ratios tell viewers where they are in the timeline.” Those aspect ratios are 1.33, 1.85, and 2.35:1.
