The first television commercial for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is surprisingly emotional and full of new footage. Shall we blame Coldplay for the feelings?

Walmart debuted the minute-long Catching Fire TV spot this afternoon and we suspect you’ll be seeing it all over television starting this week.

Key new scenes include one where Gale tells Katniss he won’t be coming to say goodbye to her at her departure. In another, Peeta reminds Katniss she can’t act empty towards him when off camera. There’s also a shot of the Quarter Quell in which we see Effie pull Katniss’ name. At that moment we see Effie upset because Katniss’ name has been selected for the second time in as many years.

The rest of the commercial is filled with new looks at the highly-anticipated Hunger Games sequel. There are a couple of clips we saw in this past July’s San Diego Comic-Con trailer. Watch below:

Emotional, right?

The song you hear is Coldplay’s “Atlas,” which is a new tune written specifically for the Catching Fire soundtrack. Other artists who contribute brand new songs include Christina Aguilera, Ellie Goulding, Imagine Dragons, Lorde, and Sia. See a complete list of artists and songs in our previous report.

What stands out to you most in the new television commercial?
