Marvel is starting our weeks off on the right foot by releasing the first trailer for Black Panther!

Black Panther looks like nothing we’ve seen before — and not only because people of color are making up the principal cast of a major Marvel movie. The film finds T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) becoming King of Wakanda following the death of his father. His new role is being thwarted by an old enemy: Erik Killmonger played by Michael B. Jordan.

“T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther — is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk,” says Disney. “Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.”
