We finally have an idea of what we can expect from Ant-Man and the Wasp, thanks to these first reactions from critics.

And it looks like everyone is absolutely loving the latest Marvel movie!
Ant-Man is one of the more comedic franchises within the MCU, which will be a big shift from the huge stakes of April’s Infinity War, but based on these reactions, it looks like they pulled off the switch flawlessly.
The most praised aspects of Ant-Man and the Wasp seem to be Evangeline Lilly’s character, Hope/The Wasp, the humor (one reviewer affectionately called the movie “funny AF”), the action sequences, and interestingly, the (two) post-credits scenes.
Multiple reviewers claimed that the content mid- and post-credits were the best parts of the movie! We’re guessing the scene will have something to do with Avengers 4, since Ant-Man will connect directly to the next film in the Avengers saga.

What a year for Marvel! Absolutely loved #AntManAndTheWasp. Stellar ensemble and the humor is spot on. (Laughed myself to tears during one sequence!) The tech is used to great effect yet again. Unique, highly entertaining ride I can’t wait to go on again.

Dug the heck out of #AntManAndTheWasp. Clever and charming with lots of heart. It’s a bit exposition heavy, but otherwise a damn delight. One gag had me laughing so hard I was in tears and the post-credits scene is easily one of Marvel’s best.
