Following a premiere in Best Buy stores across America over the weekend, the final Mockingjay, Part 2 trailer is now online!

Luckily you no longer have to leave your home to watch the new and final Hunger Games trailer. In this nearly 2-minute preview, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) is angrier than ever as she asks the people of Panem to take down Snow, not each other.

“Stop killing for him!” she screams. This is Katniss at her fiercest, and fittingly so. After all, this is the last film in the series (until the spinoffs).

This is her last chance to end President Snow.

Many characters appear in this final trailer for fleeting moments, including Haymitch (Woody Harrelson), Effie (Elizabeth Banks), Tigris (Eugenie Bondurant), Johanna (Jena Malone), Commander Lyme (Gwendoline Christie), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Plutarch Heavensbee (Philip Seymour Hoffman).

Today’s new Mockingjay, Part 2 trailer is light on new footage, but we see this as a good thing. It seems like the studio is purposely not unveiling a slew of scenes from the film so as to keep many aspects a surprise (so far).

Speaking of clips, the studio released the first one over the weekend. It depicts Squad 451 coming together and discussing their initial plans. It’s notable because Finnick offers his beloved “welcome to the 76th Hunger Games” line at the end:

Mockingjay enters theaters November 20, though many theaters are screening it a day or two earlier than that. For example, AMC theaters will run Mockingjay, Part 1 and Mockingjay, Part 2 back-to-back on Wednesday, November 18.

The film’s (final?) poster debuted last week and depicts Katniss soaring with the bird:

“With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale, Finnick, and Peeta – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to liberate the citizens of Panem, and stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her,” reads a synopsis from Lionsgate. “The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.”

What do you think of the final ‘Mockingjay, Part 2’ trailer?

I saw the previous trailer in theaters with The Martian over the weekend and it made me very excited/emotional.
