If you want to be one of the first people to check out the final trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2, you need to head to a Best Buy this weekend.
Samsung and Lionsgate have announced that the final trailer for The Hunger Games franchise (until the spinoffs, that is!) will be unveiled on Samsung tablets at Best Buys around the United States beginning this Friday, October 2.
In addition, Best Buy will be offering a preview of a new Hunger Games virtual reality experience. It’s described as a “6-minute, 360-degree immersive journey through some of the defining moments of The Hunger Games film franchise using the Samsung Gear VR headset. The VR experience takes viewers through Katniss’ journey throughout the The Hunger Games series,” according to a press release.
You can visit this page on Samsung’s site to find your nearest Best Buy. I plan to drop into one of the stores early on Friday to bring you a report here on Hypable!

With the Best Buy experience running from October 2-4, one could hope the Mockingjay, Part 2 trailer will be released online on Monday, October 5. Fingers crossed!
The two companies did something similar last year at San Diego Comic-Con for the first full Mockingjay, Part 1 trailer. Fans at the convention could go through a special Capitol experience, which included the ability to watch the new trailer on a Samsung tablet before anyone else. We went through it and it was actually the coolest thing Lionsgate has ever done.
Mockingjay, Part 2 opens on November 20.
