Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will have entirely new footage. In addition, preordering Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will offer players the costume for Final Fantasy VII‘s Cloud Strife, and Cloud’s first game is now on Steam.

For those who weren’t satisfied by the (SPOILER ALERT for the Final Fantasy X-2 ending) “perfect” ending of Final Fantasy X-2, fret not.

According to Siliconera, the latest issue of the Japanese magazine Shounen Jump reveals that there will be “a new 30-minute-long drama that will play during the compilation’s credits sequence.”

What’s more, there will be “newly recorded voices” in this 30 minute scene. While it’s not confirmed when in the Tidus timeline this footage will take place, we can only hope that we will see more of Tidus and Yuna’s happy ever after.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will release for the PS3 and PS Vita sometime this year. Final Fantasy X came out in late 2001, while Final Fantasy X-2 released in 2003, both for the PlayStation 2.

Players who preorder Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will get a DLC code for a Final Fantasy VII Cloud Strife costume for Lightning, reports IGN.

The costume DLC will include Cloud’s original Soldier 1st Class outfit, along with his Buster Sword, victory fanfare music, and finishing animation.

We have to admit, Lightning looks pretty bad-ass in Cloud’s original costume. The question on our minds now is if this confirms speculation of a Final Fantasy VII HD remake.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is the third game in the Final Fantasy XIII universe, and comes out in North America on 11 Feb 2014, and in Europe on the 14th of the same month.

Lastly, Square Enix and Steam have teamed up to give fans of Final Fantasy VII another very special treat. The original PlayStation One title is now available for download on Steam for PC for $11.99.

The game was already available for download off of the Square Enix store‘s website for the same price. Both downloadable versions of FF VII include achievements, cloud saving (the ability to move to another computer and use the same save file), and “character boosters” to help your character out of a tough fight.
