The titles of the final four episodes of The Legend of Korra have been released, giving fans a lot to think about.

The Legend of Korra season 4 has been an epic and emotional roller coaster, and the ride is gearing up for its last big loop. The series’ final four episode titles — ever — give us a few tantalizing hints at how the amazing animated series might wrap up.

And let’s just say it’s not all sunshine and rose-bending.

Given a recent sneak peek, “Operation: BeiFong” makes sense a lot of sense as the title for this week’s episode, The Legend of Korra season 4, episode 10. Multiple generations of the BeiFong family (plus Bolin) will reunite to save one of their own, but given the drama that has historically pervaded each season’s tenth episode, can we hope that all will end well?

The title for episode 11, “Kuvira’s Gambit,” doesn’t answer this question. The would-be dictator could be driven to desperate measures by a political loss — or she could be luring Korra and Team Avatar into a trap.

Or she has something else up her sleek metal sleeve entirely.

The penultimate episode of The Legend of Korra will be called “Day of the Colossus,” and we’d be flat-out truth-bending if we said we had a clue what that means… beyond seeming mighty ominous, that is.

The Legend of Korra season-and-series finale is set to be titled “The Last Stand.” This does suggest that Korra at least stands some chance against Kuvira, but we’re glad the last title keeps things a little vague. Rock it like Katara and keep that hope alive, people.

The Legend of Korra season 4, episode 10, “Operation: BeiFong,” will stream on Friday, Dec. 5 on Nick.com.
