If you just can’t wait to watch Fifty Shades of Grey, head to the 2015 Berlin Film Festival in February.

Fifty Shades of Grey, the adaptation of E.L. James’ steamy love story of the same name, is going to premiere internationally on February 11 at the Berlin Film Festival.

The film stars Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey, the BDSM-savvy romantic lead who introduces the reluctant main character Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) to his secret world.

The premiere takes place two days before Fifty Shades of Grey opens in the U.S. on February 13 — just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Just like the book, we’re sure this movie is going to be a massive hit. Some will watch it because they like the story and are genuine fans, while others will watch it to see what all the fuss is about — and still others will watch it just to be able to say they have.

Ellen DeGeneres recently released a hilarious parody trailer starring herself:

Berlinale is often the place for risqué films like Fifty Shades to premiere. In 2013, Lars von Trier’s controversial Nymphomaniac was screened for the first time, and was a hit with critics (it also made headlines because Shia LaBeouf memorably stormed out of the press conference).

The Fifty Shades of Grey novel has topped best-seller lists around the world since its release in 2011, and became the fastest-selling paperback of all time in the United Kingdom.
