Like any book to film adaptation, Fifty Shades of Grey is getting a soundtrack. The first song off the compilation is a new tune by The Weeknd.

The Weekend The Weeknd’s (damn you autocorrect) “Earned It” is a slow moving ballad which sounds like it’ll fit nicely with the vibe of the film.

Hit play below, then scroll down to read what we’re imagining happens on screen as the song plays.

Our imaginary Fifty Shades scene:

Ana slowly walks into Christian’s bedroom. Christian is staring at her. They trade intense glances at one another. The camera gets closer and closer to each of them.

Ana begins to disrobe. Christian continues to stare. A little smirk creeps up on his face.

She takes a few steps towards him. [1:25] Ana jumps him. They start making out.

The remaining three minutes of the song is a sex montage.

While we don’t know what other artists are a part of the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack yet, it’s widely believed that Beyoncé has contributed at least one song. A new, sexy, and slow version of “Crazy In Love” premiered with the film’s first trailer, and the second trailer included Bey’s “Haunted.”

Fifty Shades of Grey hits theaters on Valentine’s Day weekend. The film stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.

What do you think of The Weeknd’s ‘Earned It’?

We’re very eager to hear what other songs and artists are a part of the compilation. It would take some guts to agree to be on this film’s soundtrack given the subject and the critical and commercial backlash that the series has faced over the past couple years.
