Good news! Each day this week, NBC’s Today Show will be releasing one new clip from Fifty Shades of Grey.

Fans who are eagerly awaiting the film should be happy to see clips finally drop. As far as we know, outside of trailers and TV spots no standalone clips have been released — until today!

In this first Fifty Shades of Grey clip, Ana is working at the hardware store when her new acquaintance Christian drops in for some supplies. His appearance catches Ana off guard, and she nervously helps Christian find cable ties, masking tape, and rope.

Ana wonders if he’s using these supplies to redecorate or carry out a murder, but Christian coyly pushes off the accusation. This scene does appear in the book by E.L. James and takes place shortly after Ana interviews Christian at his office.

We found ourselves really enjoying the awkward chemistry between actors Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson in this clip. Remember, Ana has been really moved by this guy and doesn’t know how to deal with it. We can only imagine the sort of sexual tension that will be building between Christian and Ana as the film progresses.
