The Fifty Shades of Grey empire is expanding with two bottles of wine inspired by the sexy trilogy.

The red wine is from 2009 and is described as being a “decadent red blend of Petite Sirah and Syrah with flavors of black cherry, cocoa powder, creamy caramel and vanilla, leather and clove spice.” The white is from 2012 and is “a delicate yet rich white blend of Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc. White Silk’s flavors include floral aromatics of lychee and honey, tempered by flavors of crisp grapefruit, mineral and lush pear with a faint hint of butterscotch.”

Each bottle is available for $18.95, or together in a box set for $45.99 with a nondescript black box.

Said author E.L. James about the Fifty Shades of Grey wine, “Wine plays an important role in Fifty Shades of Grey, adding to the sensuality that pervades a number of scenes. I’ve always had a penchant for good wine, so combining two of my passions to blend Red Satin and White Silk was a natural extension of the series. I hope my readers curl up with a glass as they enjoy the romance between Anastasia and Christian.”

We can definitely see one of these bottles complimenting your reading experience. Or, you can purchase a bottle now and save it for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie starring Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam.

The Fifty Shades of wine is the latest in a series of spin offs inspired by the three books by James. There’s also a board game and sex toys.
