It’s been a while since Fergie has given us any new music, and now we’ve been doubly blessed with a music video to go along with it.

The song is “M.I.L.F. $” and it is chock full of celebrity appearances, the most notable of which are Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen, and Ciara.

Check out the video below:

The video, directed by Colin Tilley, also features Alessanda Ambrosio, Gemma Ward, Tara Lynn, Devon Aoki, Angela Lindvall, Isabeli Fontana, Amber Valletta, and Natasha Poly, states EW.

They also relay a statement from the singer, who says, “Changing the acronym to Moms I’d Like To Follow is about empowering women who do it all,” she said. “They have a career, a family, and still find the time to take care of themselves and feel sexy. With a wink of course :).”

Of note is also a shot of Chrissy Teigen publicly breastfeeding, which she has been outspoken about since welcoming her daughter Luna into the world.

It’s true Fergie has been quiet on the music front as of late, but this is certainly a bold comeback for the Black Eyed Peas singer. Rumor has it there’s another album on the horizon for her.

The video is pretty typical of the current trend in pop and hip-hop, which sees women hypersexualized. In the case of “M.I.L.F. $,” Fergie puts that power back in her own hands and tries to change the narrative by making it less about sex and more about the drive to be independent, powerful, sexy, and confident. Do you think it worked?

What did you think of Fergie’s new music video for ‘M.I.L.F. $’?
