Freeform will soon be adding animated content to their television slate — and they’ve already ordered a pair of series from some big names in Hollywood!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Freeform has officially announced they’ll be developing two new original animated series executive produced by American Horror Story vet Emma Roberts and The Guild’s Felicia Day, respectively.

The network announced plans to develop both series at their second annual Summit in Los Angeles on Wednesday (March 27). There, they also unveiled some information with regards to what we can expect from both series.

First up is Betches, produced by Roberts along with Rachel Koller, who will also serve as the series’ writer.

Based on Samantha Fishbein, Jordana Abraham, and Aleen Kuperman’s multimedia brand of the same name, the series is set to follow three best friends and roommates living in New York City as they try to navigate young adulthood.

The animated series coming down the pipeline at Freeform is Woman World. Based off of Aminder Dhaliwal’s graphic novel of the same name, the series dives into what the world would be if men were to go extinct. The new series is set to follow “a community of women who lean on one another for survival as they search for love and identity in the ladies-only world.”

Dhaliwal is on board to write the pilot for the animated adaptation, which will be executive produced by Day.
