A new trailer for The Fault in Our Stars was released this weekend with 20th Century Fox’s The Other Woman.

The new TFiOS trailer is only available with that particular film in theaters and is not online (yet). We suspect it’ll hit the internet sometime next week.

Update: The film’s official Twitter account has announced that the trailer will be released Monday.

We attended a screening of The Other Woman last night (check out our review) and wanted to share details about what’s in the trailer.

The new Fault in Our Stars trailer opens and closes with the same framing device as the first trailer. “I believe we have choice in this world about how to tell sad stories,” Shailene Woodley’s Hazel Grace Lancaster says as the trailer opens. “Okay,” she says as it ends.

The trailer does contain footage from the “It’s a metaphor” clip that was released earlier this month.

There’s also some footage that we get to see for the first time. A few examples of this: A little more of support group including Patrick (Mike Birbiglia) playing the guitar. Hazel also talks to her parents about “doing the pot,” a scene lifted word for word from the book.

There are more new moments in the Fault in Our Stars trailer, but describing them would be spoiling too much. However, we will say this: it’s a whirlwind of emotions that is perhaps even more emotional than the previous trailer.

We’ll be sure to bring you the trailer immediately when it is released. This will likely be sometime next week, but there’s a chance it could surface this weekend. To guarantee you’ll see it as soon as possible, you’ll have to go see The Other Woman.
