Next month’s MTV Movie Awards will play host to a new clip from The Fault in Our Stars movie.
The clip will air during the event’s pre-show which kicks off Sunday, April 13 at 8:30 p.m. eastern/pacific. In addition, stars Shailene Woodley (Hazel) and Ansel Elgort (Gus) will present an award during the ceremony itself.
Although several smaller clips from the book to film adaptation debuted in a featurette on Friday, this “exclusive clip” at the MTV Movie Awards may be the first standalone scene readers get to see.

Conan O’Brien will host the 2014 MTV Awards which has already announced Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, Kate Upton, and the Entourage movie cast as presenters. See a list of award categories and nominees in our previous story.
The Fault in Our Stars will be released June 6 in the United States. International release dates were unveiled this morning via Green’s official Facebook page:

– Brazil: June 5
– Germany: June 5
– Mexico: June 6
– U.K.: June 20

In related news, yesterday Green fans learned that his third book Paper Towns is set to be adapted for the big screen with the same screenwriting and producing team as Fault.
