The first Furious 7 trailer has been released featuring the massive Fast and Furious cast along with the late Paul Walker.

Fast and Furious’ seventh installment, Furious 7, was being filmed while actor Paul Walker died in a tragic car crash back in November, 2013. The production halted while cast and crew mourned the death of the incredibly well-liked actor, and later continued production with his brother reportedly filling in for him in shots that were yet to be filmed.

While Paul is obviously one of the main stars of the film, the first trailer for Furious 7 seems to focus on him quite a bit, and it still feels a bit too soon to see the actor behind the wheel again, though we imagine he’d want his fans to enjoy watching the exciting new trailer for Furious 7 below:

The first trailer makes the film look massive, and continues to put a spotlight on some great rides, and shows the true friendships between actors which have developed since the first film hit theaters back in 2001. As Vin Diesel says in the trailer, “I don’t have friends, I have family.” This cast has certainly become family over the last decade, and we look forward to seeing them all back up on the big screen again.

From the first trailer it looks like the Fast and Furious crew will be headed around the globe, being joined by some new villains and some old friends. Obviously there has been a lot of talk about how the director planned on including Paul Walker’s death in the film, and whether his character would die in the film or be written out.

There were reports that the film’s screenwriter, Chris Morgan, decided to make Walker’s character exit more of a retirement during Furious 7, which would prevent them from having to kill off his character. We imagine it was incredibly difficult for everyone involved due to Walker’s tragic car accident, but we look forward to seeing Furious 7 when the film hits theaters April 10, 2015.

James Wan directed the film which also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black. They’ll be joined by international action stars new to the franchise including Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, Nathalie Emmanuel and Kurt Russell.
