Fargo is back tomorrow night with episode 3 titled “A Muddy Road.”

Last week, Fargo episode 2 saw less action than the premiere, but the show was just as good. After the bloody events of the series premiere, episode 2 featured a lot of the fallout.

A lot of episode 2 featured Allison Tolman’s Molly Solverson character connecting the murders from the premiere to Martin Freeman’s Lester Nygaard, but unfortunately she was constantly turned away by her new boss Bill Oswalt, played by Bob Odenkirk. By the looks of one of the photos below, Molly doesn’t appear to be giving up. Will this get her in trouble since Bill has already told her to leave Lester alone?

The episode 3 synopsis reads, “Malvo flips the script on the blackmail operation. Molly sets a trap, and Gus debates whether he should come clean. Lester’s return to work has complicated repercussions.”

From the synopsis and the below stills, it appears Lester’s return to work didn’t go as planned. The stills show that he’ll have a run in with Mr. Numbers (Adam Goldberg) and Mr. Wrench (Russell Harvard), the two men who have come down from Fargo to investigate Sam Hess’ murder.

The first line in that synopsis about Lorne Malvo (Billy Bob Thornton) flipping the script on the blackmail operation is interesting, particularly because there are no photos released of him. This leads us to believe that he’ll be up to no good, and it becomes even clearer that he should not be trusted, but as we’ve said, he is a master of rhetoric, and he keeps gaining the trust of almost everyone around him.

We’ve seen the episode and can say with certainty that the ending is amazing, and you won’t want to miss it.

Are you excited to see where ‘Fargo’ goes in episode 3?
