Fargo is back tomorrow night with episode 2 titled “The Rooster Prince.”
Last week, Fargo debuted with a several bangs. The premiere saw Martin Freeman’s Lester Nygaard character transform from a weasle of a man to someone who was part of no less than three separate murders, including the murder of his wife by his own hand.
Where does Fargo go from here? From the looks of the attached photos, episode 2 will feature lots of Allison Tolman’s Molly Solverson character. We can go on to conjecture from here that the episode may include plenty of police work, but this shouldn’t be surprising since the premiere saw four people dead, including the chief of police. The police will have to get to the bottom of it, but will they ever connect the dots to Lester? He cleverly knocked himself out at the scene of the crime, making himself look like a victim, not a suspect.
The episode 2 synopsis reads, “Molly begins to suspect that Lester is involved in the murders, but her boss points her in a different direction. Meanwhile, Malvo investigates the plot against a man known as the Supermarket King.”
It appears that Molly has connected the dots to Lester. This makes sense as she was the one who thought he might be involved in the first place. This led to Chief Vern Thurman going to talk to Lester, and Molly would have every right to be suspicious after he died.
