Warner Brothers has released five more Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald posters after realizing the dozen already available are insufficient.

Monday’s poster, late September’s nine posters, July’s poster, and at least one other that I cannot currently find weren’t enough. No sir, we needed more posters. In these, the characters are presented in twos.

The bottom of each poster contains Hogwarts, the Deathly Hallows symbol, and the Eiffel Tower. It suggests what we already suspected: That this film will mostly take place in Hogwarts and Paris, and around Grindelwald’s fascination with the Deathly Hallows.

Let’s take a look at some of the details at the top of each poster from the co-author of this article, Patrick F.

Starting with Queenie and Jacob’s poster, we see an intricate wand that’s pointing into an umbrella. This is a call back to how their relationship ended in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. We also see a bird that resembles the Augurey, the creature that shows up behind Jacob in the trailer. There also seems to be a serpent of some sort possibly breathing fire.

Grindelwald and Credence’s poster centers on the Elder Wand in front of a skull — fitting the enemy’s radical beliefs. There are also thestrals, harkening back to the trailer and how Grindelwald escapes captivity. Credence being on a poster with Grindelwald definitely suggests that we will see him struggling to decide which side he’ll align with. Does he let the person he trusted get in his head again in his true form, or will he go with the good guys?

Tina and Yusuf’s poster centers on a wand that looks like a quill. We also see an image of the Matagot, the sleek, large, blue-eyed cats from the final trailer. Here we also see the eagle symbol of MACUSA, where Tina works. Presumably each of these characters wants to find Credence. Tina was all about protecting him in the first film, but we don’t quite know Yusuf’s intensions.

Next is Leta and Theseus. In the center is a wand that reaches into the Ministry of Magic logo, presumably because Theseus works as an Auror for the Ministry. There is also a beautiful bird and the same fire breathing snake that shows up in Queenie and Jacob’s poster. There is also a tombstone, possibly referencing the scene in the first trailer when Theseus and Newt are in a graveyard.

The Newt and Dumbledore poster centers on another wand emitting a spell. Here we also see a Bowtruckle (probably Picket), a Niffler, and possibly a dragon in the corners. We know that Newt and Albus will be working together to recapture Grindelwald.

Crimes of Grindelwald arrives this November.

Editor’s note: Johnny Depp, who co-stars in this film, has been repeatedly accused of violence. He allegedly beat his ex-wife Amber Heard (read the accusations by Heard and Depp’s former associates). J.K. Rowling responded to the controversy. In July 2018, Depp was accused of punching a crew member on the set of a film in April 2017. Why are we telling you this?
