Warner Brothers unveiled the second trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, and as expected, it was immediately released online!

The new Crimes of Grindelwald SDCC trailer unveils a Hogwarts Express-sized amount of new scenes from the highly-anticipated film. Not only do we get to see Nicholas Flamel (in a very funny scene opposite Jacob), but we also see Dumbledore peering into the Mirror of Erised. And who’s that he sees? Oh yeah, that looks explicitly gay. Watch below:

There’s a lot to unpack here: Young Newt being taught about boggarts by Dumbledore; Credence showing an interest in joining the circus; Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) saying the “old way” has served wizards no longer; Grindelwald reportedly having a vision in which he “rises to dominance.”

And then there’s Dumbledore (Jude Law), who says that he can’t move on Grindelwald as viewers see his old love in the Mirror of Erised. This likely implies that Dumbledore’s inability to “move” on him relates to their bad romance.

In addition, a poster depicting what looks like all major and supporting characters was released. The white background gives it a striking look.

Most of the cast appeared today, including Johnny Depp in character as Grindelwald. Hypable is covering WB’s SDCC panel LIVE. Check out our up to the minute WB SDCC live blog.

Here’s video of Johnny Depp talking to the audience as Grindelwald. Creepy! On multiple levels!

Also this weekend a highly-detailed poster for The Crimes of Grindelwald was released.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hits theaters this November.

Editor’s note: Johnny Depp, who co-stars in this film, has been repeatedly accused of violence. He allegedly beat his ex-wife Amber Heard (read the accusations by Heard and Depp’s former associates). J.K. Rowling responded to the controversy. In July 2018, Depp was accused of punching a crew member on the set of a film in April 2017. Why are we telling you this?
