Fantastic Beasts will be released as an audiobook this March and voiced by Newt Scamander actor Eddie Redmayne.

The news was announced Friday morning by Pottermore to kick off A Celebration of Harry Potter, occurring this weekend in Orlando, Florida.

Fantastic Beasts has been out since 2001 but is set to be republished on March 17 with six new creatures and a new forward by Newt (J.K. Rowling). The audiobook will be released at the same time.

Said Eddie in a statement, “Before I was cast in the film, David Yates told me about Newt and this textbook. I found it so funny and so enchanting and really wittily written. But it wasn’t until I started reading it out loud for the audiobook that I realized how tricky and poetic J.K. Rowling’s use of sounds and language can be. There are some really great tongue twister words in here! Occasionally, I had to stop recording just because I was incapable of saying the words without either laughing or getting my tongue in a muddle.

“I enjoyed the challenge and hope listeners can sense that in my narration.”

We’re sure this is going to be fun to listen to since Eddie is Newt in the movie. Can’t wait!

The Fantastic Beasts book is available for pre-order on Audible. Meanwhile, the next Fantastic Beasts movie is set to hit theaters November 2018.

Other Harry Potter announcements are expected to be made at Celebration throughout the weekend. Stay tuned for more coverage!
