An enterprising fan has put together a breathtaking – and spoiler-filled – trailer for the as-yet-unannounced The Legend of Korra season 3.

Fans have known for several months that The Legend of Korra season 3 will be titled “Book 3: Change,” but it has only been in the past few days that real change has come to the percolating fandom.
Since most official sources have maintained radio silence on the subject of the series’ return – even after a serious leak of several new episodes to a Spanish-language affiliate – the Legend of Korra fandom has taken the challenge of change into their own hands.
Using footage from the leaked episodes of The Legend of Korra season 3, a fan known as Bigby Wolf on YouTube has compiled a compelling trailer for the season. Utilizing music from the official soundtrack, the trailer is sure to start the blood pounding through the veins of even the most hopeless fans.
A fair warning, however: The fan-made trailer includes several new characters, and hints at significant plot points upcoming in The Legend of Korra season 3. Fans who wish to remain unspoiled should definitely avoid this new grassroots project.

As mentioned above, Nickelodeon has not addressed the episode leak in a public forum. The only official news about The Legend of Korra season 3 has come from co-creator Mike DiMartino. DiMartino recently took to his Tumblr to announce that production has wrapped on “Book 3: Change.”
“I know you are all excited to watch,” DiMartino wrote. “Believe me, we’re excited to share it with you! I wish I could say I had some news about Korra’s release date, but I’m sorry to say I don’t.”
The strongest bet for news on the Legend of Korra season 3 release date is at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con. The show has had a strong presence at the convention for several years, and fans are hopeful that at least a general time-frame for the release will be announced there.
