The big premiere week was the week just passed, but we’ve still got some premieres to look forward to this fall season! See which shows are coming back or premiering in the upcoming week.

SUNDAY:

The Simpsons : Sunday 8/7c, FOX
Homer befriends the new security guard at the power plant (voiced by Kiefer Sutherland) as America decides whether or not Ned-diddly-ed and Edna will make their relationship work.

American Dad: Sunday 9.30/8.30c, FOX
In the premiere episode, Cee-Lo Green lends his voice to the singing hot tub that Stan bought!

Boardwalk Empire: Sunday 9/8c, HBO
The critically acclaimed HBO drama returns Sunday for its second season. In the opener, Nucky tries to play peacemaker when Chalky and the KKK have a showdown. Nelson’s wife pays him a visit, Jimmy gets advice from the Commodore and Al Capone looks to expand his illegal booze business. Also, don’t forget to catch the premiere pre-show at 8.45!

Family Guy: Sunday 9/8c, FOX
Impressively heading into their 11th season, the Griffin family find themselves broke. Peter’s plan? He’s going to buy 200,000 lottery tickets! Fool proof.

The Good Wife: Sunday 9/8c, CBS
In the first episode back, Alicia deals with a controversial case, defending a Muslim student accused of murdering their Jewish classmate.

Pan Am: Sunday 10/9c, ABC
The much-anticipated fall series follows the Mad Men model, set in the 60s and focusing on the iconic Pan Am airline. Cristina Ricci stars in this period drama full of intrigue, romance and espionage!

CSI: Miami: Sunday 10/9c, CBS
The crime soap returns dramatically with Horatio bleeding from a gunshot wound and Natalia battling to free herself from the trunk of a submerged car.

Desperate Housewives: Sunday 9/8c, ABC
The final season of Desperate Housewives opens with the characters getting rid of the body of Gaby’s evil stepfather after Carlos killed him to protect Gaby.

The Cleveland Show: Sunday 8.30/7.30c, FOX
Peter Griffin visits Stoolbend in this premiere, but doesn’t look up Cleveland! What’s up with that? Meanwhile, Donna wants to show that Rallo is as smart as the other kids in his class, so she forces him to enter a Quiz Bowl tournament.

 

MONDAY:

Terra Nova: Monday 8.00/7.00c, FOX
In the first part of the two-part series premiere, the police raid the Shannon home and arrest the father, Jim Shannon. Shannon realizes he must take drastic measures to keep his family together after his wife, Elisabeth, is selected to travel back to prehistoric times to create a new civilization and, hopefully, help change the future.

Gossip Girl: Monday 8.00/7.00c, CW
Serena loves her new job in Hollywood, but makes a mistake trying to impress her boss. Chuck and Nate arrive in LA as their last stop of their Lost Summer trip, joining Serena at a glamorous party, where Nate meets a sexy older woman. Blair and Louis return from Monaco and begin planning their royal wedding, but when Louis refuse to support Blair’s decisions against his family, their relation is at risk. A magazine is planning to run an excerpt of Dan’s book until an unlikely ally helps him.

Hart of Dixie: Monday 9.00/8.00, CW
Aspiring New York doctor Zoe Hart thinks she has her future mapped out until she is turned down for a prestigious fellowship that she felt confident she would receive. Desperately seeking experience, she accepts an offer from a friendly stranger, Harley Wilkes, a doctor she met at her medical school graduation and a man who had offered Zoe an opportunity to join his small medical practice in Bluebell, Alabama.

Mike & Molly: Monday 9.30/8.30, CBS
Now that they are engaged, Molly wants Mike to commit to planning their wedding, but her idea is in the way of Mike taking a fishing trip with his friends.

 

WEDNESDAY:

Suburgatory: Wednesday 8.30/7.30, ABC
A single dad George and his 16 years old daughter move out of New York and get a cultural shock when they move into the suburbs.

Happy Endings: Wednesday 9.30/8.30, ABC
Jane urges Alex and Dave to come clean with each other since it’s the first anniversary of their almost-marriage. Penny buys an “amah-zing” condo which shefeels will turn her life around.

 

THURSDAY:

How to Be a Gentleman: Thursday 8.30/7.30, CBS
Andrew Carlson as etiquette columnist, is told to adapt to a much sexier style, for the new image of the magazine, he hires his old high school bully Bert Lansing to try to help him to be more modern and sexy.

Private Practice: Thursday 10.00/9.00, CBS
While Violet is nowhere to be found, the rest of the doctors work together to save Pete’s life after he suffers a heart attack. Addision wants a baby so she decides to meet with a specialist, only she runs into Jack Reilly, the mystery man she kissed. Sheldon is determined to help with Amelia’s alcohol problem.

 

SATURDAY:

Merlin: 7.50 GMT, BBC One
Here’s one for our British readers! While we don’t yet know when Merlin‘s fourth season will premiere in the US, the show is coming back to the BBC this Saturday! In the first part of the opener, Merlin, Arthur and the others are dealing with the fallout of the last finale. Morgana is out for blood and vengeance, and we’re betting there’s a good reason why this episode title’s is ‘The Darkest Hour’!
