This fall, the biggest names in music are going to be releasing new albums in what can only be known as a supernova explosion of pop music! Check out the top 10 albums we’re looking forward to over the next couple of months!

From Britney to Lady Gaga to Justin Timberlake, the biggest names will be releasing new music pretty much all at the same time. Fall 2013 may be the most action-packed couple of months for the biggest names in pop music there has ever been! Here are our 10 most-anticipated (in no particular order):

Ariana Grande – “Yours Truly” – September 9

Though her album has already been released, we’re still counting this as a fall release. Ariana Grande is represented by Scooter Braun, who is responsible for Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen just to name a few. Though she hasn’t skyrocketed to superstardom just yet, her 90s vibe pop ballads have made an impact on radio and Billboard charts. Expect her to have a huge 2014!

Kelly Clarkson – “Wrapped In Red” – October 29

Christmas comes early for Kelly Clarkson fans as her first Christmas album Wrapped In Red arrives just before Halloween! Kelly has been somewhat quiet on the music front lately, but we expect that her holiday album will be a huge hit. The album will feature some original music but also some classics like “Silent Night,” “Run Run Rudolph” and others.

One Direction – “Midnight Memories” – November 25

Following up the premiere of their first movie and the launch of their fragrance, One Direction has announced their third studio album. While details are still under wraps, the album will certainly feature their latest single “Best Song Ever” which was a promotional song for their movie This Is Us.

Katy Perry – “Prism” – October 22

Sandwiched between Miley and Kelly, Katy Perry is releasing her follow-up to the record-breaking album Teenage Dream on October 22nd. The debut single “Roar” was a huge hit and topped the Billboard Hot 100 shortly after its release. There’s no doubt Prism will be a No.1 hit as well.

Drake – “Nothing Was The Same” – September 24

It has been a while for Drake, but the rapper returns in just a few days with Nothing Was The Same. According to Billboard, “the new album largely does away with the purely slow songs that can be found on stretches of previous Drake albums, mostly confining R&B elements to hooks, bridges and atmospherics.”

Chris Brown – “X” – November

No official date has been set for Chris Brown’s next album, but many fans are excited to hear what will be his 10th foray in to the pop/R&B scene. Brown has already seen some recent success on the Billboard charts with his song “Fine China.” Regardless of what people think about his personal life, there’s no denying his talent.

Britney Spears

There’s no title or release date for Britney’s new album, but she has been teasing her new song and video “Work Bitch” over the last few weeks. She’s also setting up a big announcement for her not-yet-announced Las Vegas stint. Brit will release a new album and instead of tour it, do her stay in Las Vegas to promote it. Either way fans are expecting a “sequel” of sorts from Britney’s 2007 album Blackout which is arguably her highest-regarded album of her career.

Miley Cyrus – “Bangerz” – October 9

“We Can’t Stop” was a huge radio hit this summer, and after the MTV Video Music Awards performance there’s no doubt that Miley’s album will be a top 5 debut, if not the No.1 album when it’s released on October 9th. Her new video and single “Wrecking Ball” has inspired a recent viral meme which has people LOL’ing all over the world.

Justin Timberlake – “The 20/20 Experience, Part 2” – September 30

We’re only a few days away from the second half of Justin Timberlake’s 2-part album experience when The 20/20 Experience, Part 2 releases on September 30th. Though Part 1 was popular and did well on the charts, it didn’t have quite the momentum that Timberlake probably hoped. Let’s see what Part 2 has to offer.

Lady Gaga – “ARTPOP” – November 11

Lady Gaga fans have waited over 2 years for new material, and they’re finally getting it. ARTPOP will be both a physical album as well as an interactive experience via an app. New music, videos, art, and multimedia will be released via the app throughout its run, for what is being touted as a new media experience for music. The lead single “Applause” peaked at No.4 on the Hot 100 and has received mediocre reviews from fans. After performing a few more songs from ARTPOP at the iTunes music festival, it sounds like ARTPOP is going to be an exciting release.

Other notable albums coming in the fall: Cher, Celine Dion, Avicii, Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon, TLC.
