Facebook has announced that your profile picture will soon have the ability to turn into a five-second moving portrait — A feature which feels like it’s straight outta Harry Potter.

The new feature will be the first time in Facebook’s history that you’ll be able to make your profile picture do something special.

Since most of us use a picture of ourself for our profile pic, this new feature is going to make us feel like we have our own Hogwarts portrait!

“Soon, you’ll be able to film a short, looping video clip that will play for anyone who visits your profile,” writes Facebook. “Profile videos will let you show a part of yourself you couldn’t before, and add a new dimension to your profile.”

Here’s how they’ll look:

Who’ll be the first person to recreate this iconic moment from the Harry Potter series?

The announcement arrives a few weeks after Apple announced that their new Live Photos feature is coming to Facebook. Due to debut on the social network later this year, every photo taken on an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus will now come to life without any additional work (so long as you have the Live Photos feature turned on in your 6s’s Camera app).

Using the Live Photos feature on iPhone requires the 6s’s new 3D Touch technology, so it’ll be interesting to see how Facebook implements the moving photos. Perhaps it’ll only work within the Facebook app on the latest iPhones?

Facebook announced a couple of additional features today: Soon you’ll be able to set a temporary profile picture for when you want to celebrate special events (like everyone did when adding a rainbow filter when celebrating America’s marriage equality ruling). The social network is also promising improved profile controls, including the ability to write a short blurb about yourself which’ll appear right at the top of your profile. It appears to be similar to a feature Twitter already has:
