Sneak peek photos from Girls‘ second season, set to premiere in January, have been released along with a first look at what’s to come in the newest episodes!
Fans are highly anticipating HBO’s second season of the hit comedy Girls, which debuts on January 13, and the show has even been tentatively renewed for a third season. To help ease the pain of waiting, these exclusive photos take a look at what’s to come for the Girls gang in season 2.
From the looks of this image, it seems that Jessa (Jemima Kirk) has herself some new children now that the nanny gig is over: Puppies! And they’re a gift from her new hubby, Williamsburg resident Thomas-John (Chris O’Dowd). Star and creator Lena Dunham said of season 2, “You know how an infant doubles its weight in the first few weeks of its life? That’s what’s happening to these girls right now.”
Adam (Adam Driver) and Hannah’s relationship is still up in the air at the end of the first season, and though they’re together in this photo, Adam doesn’t seem too happy about it. According to Entertainment Weekly, “he’s still feeling rejected by Hannah.” And there are the rumors that Hannah will be hooking up with Patrick Wilson. Getting hit by a car in season 1’s finale doesn’t look like it’s helping matters much, either.
What a happy reunion! Hannah’s ex-boyfriend-turned-gay best friend from college, Elijah (Andrew Rannells), decided to actually take Hannah up on her offer and move in after Marnie (Allison Williams) packed her things. Though Marnie and Elijah had beef before, it appears as though they’ve made peace over a round of Sarah McLachlan karaoke during a housewarming party. Dunham said of the party that, “Of course, Hannah being Hannah, the party cannot go successfully. Even though she made cheesy pretzels.”
