The casting for Wolverine 3 is starting to pick up! Eriq La Salle is the newest face to join the final solo Wolverine film featuring Hugh Jackman!
Eriq La Salle will be joining the cast of Wolverine 3, according to Variety. Just like the rest of the cast announcements, no details on the character or plotline have been revealed.
Richard E. Grant and Stephen Merchant were also recently cast in the film. So far the only details we know about Grant’s character is that he will be the mad scientist type. We believe that Merchant’s character will be for some sort of comedic relief.
Boyd Holbrook will be playing the role of Wolverine’s nemesis. Charles Xavier will also be appearing in the film with Patrick Stewart returning to play him.
Wolverine 3 will be directed by James Mangold, and is written by Michael Green and David James Kelly. The film is currently scheduled for release March 3, 2017.
Before the release of Wolverine 3, fans can catch Hugh Jackman playing his character in X-Men: Apocalypse. Hopefully Wolverine’s appearance will give fans a hint at what’s to come in his final solo film.
