As promised, today Amazon released all seven Harry Potter books in its Kindle Lending Library. Readers can borrow the books for free, but there’s a catch.

In order to use Lending Library you need an Amazon Prime account, which costs $79/year. Prime includes other benefits like free two-day shipping on most products and access to Amazon’s Video on Demand service.

More can be learned on this page of Amazon’s site. Alternatively, you can buy the e-books through the Pottermore shop.

Have you purchased the Harry Potter e-books, or are you interested in what Lending Library has to offer? Kindle’s Lending Library currently does not have too big a collection. Certainly Potter is its biggest “get” yet.
